(i) Broken Lines
Surface broken lines should be painted on the road surface to indicate the :
The point of entry
ii) Repeater Arrows in the direction of the Traffic Flow
• Around the edge of the roundabout island
• On the road surface.
• As a sign mounted on the island but facing each intersection.
In the case of a very small roundabout (mini as termed in the UK) three circular arrows are painted around the “island”.
Three lanes are painted on the road surface, where the volume of traffic is high from most of the intersections but they do not need to be continuous lines around the island. A gap is made at each intersection.
